Dita von Teese to Launch Scent
Dita von Teese is launching a fragrance to go with her lingerie collection that will be released in Australia this fall (internationally in 2012) - but not for the reasons you might think. "My signature fragrance that I've been wearing since I was 14 is Quelques Fleurs, and I had to stop wearing it because my boyfriend's mother wore it," she explained. Naturally, the star concocted her own scent, which contains traces of Bulgarian rose, peony and "a sexy wood." The fragrance will launch in the U.S. next year. - Via WWD

Allure Launches E-Commerce
Allure has teamed up with Quidsi - the parent company of Soap.com and BeautyBar.com - to launch e-commerce. Its revamped website will combine editors' product recommendations with online shopping, providing a convenient "buy now" button next to suggested products. Editor-in-Chief Linda Wells insisted editorial and advertising would continue to remain separate. - Via Fashionista

Benefit Cosmetics to Open NYC Flagship Store
This September, Benefit Cosmetics will add a third East Coast store to its collection of 30 boutiques scattered around the globe. The store, located on West Broadway between Prince and Houston, will be New York's first. "We're rooted in San Francisco, but with this move, we're planning to bring a little bit of the West Coast to New York City," said Aurelian Lis, general manager of North America for the brand.
