"My mother taught me when I was very young that you don't leave the house without lipstick and I don't think she's ever had and I don't think I've ever," said Zoe, who usually sports her signature red. "That's the step we always take. Even when we don't feel like getting dressed, you still put on moisturizer, lipstick and mascara. It's an essential."
She's using what her mama gave her -- beauty advice and a plump pucker -- as the latest brand ambassador of Exude Lipstick.
Zoe collaborated with Exude co-founders Laurence Mille and Diane Breidenbach to perfect the sleek, yet very simple white packaging. The lipstick boasts an innovative crystal clear applicator that when twisted a small amount of color is released, allowing you to get a smooth and even finish. Plus, the plastic bullet maintains its shape over time -- saving us from the embarrassment of whipping out worn, crumbled up and flat lipstick.
It's moisturizing and anti-aging formula -- Vitamins E and C, Omega-3, Omega-6 and Goji Berry -- has Zoe's stamp on it, too.
"My biggest thing with lipstick is that it always dries up because I have to talk and my lips get really, really dry," she said. "And this feels like I'm wearing lip balm. It actually stays on. I went through a phase when I wanted matte, matte and matte and then I realized I constantly looked like I had chapped lips and it was not chic. Not cute at all!

The self-professed lipstick aficionado also packs her cosmetics bag with NARS Orgasm blush, Chanel eyeshadow palettes, Joey Maalouf (her personal makeup artist) black liner and Tarte mascara.
As far as Skyler, she prefers California Baby (which helped to clear up a skin rash) and Egyptian Magic.
Exude Lipstick ($29 each) will be available in nine lip cremes (Bronze, Brown, Coral, Cranberry, Nude, Pink, Plum, Red and Rosy Brown) and five lip glosses (Clear, Brown, Crimson, Dusty Pink and Scarlet Red) exclusively at exudelipstick.com starting this August before officially launching in October.
