If we were to describe a coastal, melting pot of a city with a sprawling fashion scene, most people would assume we were talking about New York City. Well, we would actually be talking about Vancouver. The StyleList staff was eager to learn more about Vancouver's style influence, so we asked our friends over at Assignment Fashion to enlighten us. The editors enlisted accomplished stylist Claudia Da Ponte to give them her top five favorite spots in Vancouver by neighborhood. With the help of fashion photographer Toranj Kayvon, the crew hit the streets and gave us a schooling in Canadian style.

Great piece! I am from Vancouver, and you did a fabulous job at highlighting some really great shops. Vancouver's scene is fairly small, but this proved that we do have some hidden gems!
