Britney Campbell, 8-Year-Old Botox User, Taken Out of Mother's Home (Video)

"Good Morning America" reports that Britney Campbell has been taken away from her mother, who recently went on air to defend giving Botox to her eight-year-old.

Lara Spencer said, "I've spoken with someone very close to the case, she is out of her mother's home. She's doing well. The case is under investigation by CPS and we should have new details within a week. But the main thing here -- she's doing well."

We first told you about the Campbells in March and "GMA" covered their story last week. In a sit-down interview, Spencer asked Britney questions worthy of a horrifying "Law & Order: SVU" episode: can you show me where you do it? Can you point on your face? Of the Botox, Britney remarked, "It hurt sometimes, but I get used to it," and of the waxing, "It was super, super hard to deal with that...I just don't think it's ladylike to have hair on your legs," however adding that she won't do it again. At least not for a while.

Just one day later, the San Francisco Child Welfare Services started looking into it and Trent Rohrer of the San Francisco Human Services Agency told cameras, "It's pretty unusual for a mom to be injecting an 8-year-old with Botox. Certainly, it's grounds for an investigation." The agency apparently got involved because there were too many unknowns, like Kerry's training, where the Botox she used came from, and whether her daughter's pediatrician was consulted.

Do needle-phobic wrinkle haters have reason to rejoice? Experts weigh in on the first study of topical botulinum toxin.

How Old Is Too Old to Wear a Miniskirt?

Over 35? Boy, do we have some news for you

A recent survey out of Britain revealed that no one wants to see you in a miniskirt. Period.

More than 2,000 women took the poll, which administered by Diet Chef, some sort of self esteem-boosting prepared-meals site. The findings show that age 47 is the cutoff for wearing a bikini, 61 for swimsuits altogether, and at 51, you can skip both the stilettos and the ponytails.

Apparently, ladies can slip into their Uggs until they've spent 45 years on planet Earth -- that's four and a half decades worth of crimes of fashion committed by sporting the sheepskin boots.

However, these aren't hard-and-fast rules. Caron Leckie, a nutritionist for Diet Chef, told the Daily Mail, "It's up to individuals to choose when they should stop wearing certain items. ... Saying that, everyone wants to look the best they can and now is the prime time to get in shape for summer."

Only if you're under 61, that is.

After stealing the style show in a feathered and embellished black gown at Disneyland's "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" premiere, Penelope Cruz switched things up sartorially to debut the flick in London on Thursday night.

The actress stepped out in a lacy and zippered Givenchy Haute Couture number with a dramatic center slit. And while we're crazy about Penny's look, she's already been called out for looking a tad too much like Kate Middleton on her big day. Can't a girl in white catch a break?

Take a look and tell us what you think.

Kerry Campbell, Mom Who Gives 8-Year-Old Botox, Being Investigated by Child Welfare Services (Video)

"Good Morning America" reports that San Francisco Child Welfare Services is now investigating Kerry Campbell, the mother who recently defended her decision to give Botox to her eight-year-old daughter Britney.

Trent Rohrer of the San Francisco Human Services Agency told cameras, "It's pretty unusual for a mom to be injecting an 8-year-old with Botox. Certainly, it's grounds for an investigation." The agency apparently got involved because there were too many unknowns, like Kerry's training, where the Botox she use comes from and whether her daughter's pediatrician was consulted.

"Good Morning America" also noticed tons of backlash after Lara Spencer's segment aired on Thursday morning. On "The View," Sherri Shepherd did some hand slapping while saying, "This is the dumbest momma I have ever seen in my life," and pageant coach Valerie Hayes remarked, "This is not what pageantry is about and I'm sorry to say she's only doing a disservice to her daughter and will never win the title that she so desperately seeks."

Spencer also asked the show's Facebook audience, "Is it okay to inject Botox into an 8-year-old?" and 97 percent said it's wrong. Clearly, the other three percent misunderstood the question.

See how Botox "saved" this woman's face.

Brooke Shields' Big Necklace at The Ballet: Love It or Leave It? (Photos, Poll)

Today's edition of when bad clothes happen to good people: Brooke Shields. The model-turned-actress stepped out to New York City Ballet's 2011 spring gala on Wednesday night wearing a one-shouldered black dress and strappy high heels. So far, not so bad...although I might have picked a pair of pumps instead.

The real style distraction came in the form of her neck gear: a frilly and feathered flower with what look like buttons on it affixed to a silver, aluminum foil-like chain. We can't tell if it's part of the frock or if it could have fallen under the "take one thing off before you leave the house" category, but, in any case, it looks like her necklace ate her left sleeve. Which is never a good thing.

Of course, this is just one human's opinion. Take a look and tell us what you think.
