Mom Defends Decision to Give 8-Year-Old Daughter, Britney Campbell, Botox (Video)

We first told you about Britney Campbell of San Francisco in March -- she's the eight-year-old aspiring pageant queen already dabbling in Botox and virgin waxes, courtesy of her mom, Kerry. The pair appeared on Thursday's "Good Morning America" to talk about the extreme beauty regimen with Lara Spencer.

Spencer asked Britney questions worthy of a horrifying "Law & Order: SVU" episode: Can you show me where you do it? Can you point on your face? Of the Botox, Britney remarked, "It hurt sometimes, but I get used to it," and of the waxing, "It was super, super hard to deal with that...I just don't think it's ladylike to have hair on your legs," however adding that she won't do it again. At least not for a while.

Kerry confessed that Britney didn't actually request either treatment, noting, "We talked about it. She didn't exactly ask me about it but I know that she was complaining about her face having wrinkles and things like that," to which Spencer said, "My son will come home and tell me he wants every Xbox game that existed...that doesn't mean you get it for them." Snap!

But, seriously -- then came a slew of photos depicting Britney with bruises, puffy cheeks and ice packs. In the end, the child says she "looks way better, like, beautiful, pretty, like, all those kinds of nice words." And that might be the most heartbreaking part.

Do needle-phobic wrinkle haters have reason to rejoice? Experts weigh in on the first study of topical botulinum toxin.

And check out how Botox "saved" this woman's face.

Katy Perry or Dita Von Teese: Who Wore It Best? (Photos, Poll)

When we first saw Katy Perry's new Vanity Fair cover, we thought, "That's cute...she's doing her best Dita Von Teese impression," but we didn't realize that the burlesque star had once struck the same pose in a very similar outfit.

The New York Post points out that Von Teese donned a flesh-color corset (look at that waist!) and pin-up-worthy tresses at her 2008 Wonderbra photo shoot. She previously told the newspaper, "People have always copied my style. I used to have friends who would dye their hair exactly the same shade as mine. I see it as a compliment," adding, "Katy and I are friends. She comes to a lot of my shows, but she [recently] came backstage and said: 'I am taking all of this (gesturing at her hair and costume).'"

We're not sure you can make the argument that the songstress is ripping off Dita's style left and right (mainly because we don't follow Katy's every move...Dita, yes, Katy, nooo), as the Post asserts. But we can ask one of our favorite questions...

Michelle Obama Talks Style At Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day (Photos)

Michelle Obama hosted Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day at the White House on Thursday and chose a floral DVF dress, cream cardigan and matching crimson flats for the occasion.

From the Associated Press report:

"She took dozens of questions Thursday in a light-hearted chat with about 200 children of White House employees. What's her favorite color? Lavender. Her favorite sport to play? Tennis. Mrs. Obama says her hobbies include exercising 'just to keep moving,' talking with her daughters Sasha and Malia, and going to their soccer and lacrosse games on the weekends.

"Song of Solomon" by Toni Morrison is one of her favorite books, the first that she 'loved and read cover to cover in one day.'"

Our favorite exchange? Why, the one with the girl who asked FLOTUS about her style, of course!

Question: My name is Cynthia (ph). I'm 10. And my mom works for the Science and Technology thingy. (Laughter.)
MRS. OBAMA: We value her service at the thingy. (Laughter.) What's your question?
Cynthia: How do you choose your clothing?
MRS. OBAMA: How do I choose my clothing? You know, it kind of depends on what I'm doing today, so after this, I have to do a luncheon, so I wanted to wear something that was comfortable, but also kind of pretty because it's a luncheon with some ladies. And -- but when I'm doing something where I'm outside and it's going to be hot, or I'm going to be running around, I'll wear something that's comfortable for that. So it really depends on the day and how I feel.
I thought, I like this dress, it's pretty, and I felt like being pretty today. Did it work? Is it pretty? Am I working?
AUDIENCE: Yes!

Oh, Cynthia, you've got a job here waiting for you.
