Jennifer Garner in Gray Oscar de la Renta: Our Look of the Day

Jennifer Garner looked elegant in a gray sweater and lacy silver skirt by Oscar de la Renta at the New York premiere of her latest film, "Arthur," in New York on April 5.

The demure red carpet choice looked polished and had a twist -- Garner's high-necked gray sweater was actually a reverse-style cardigan, with buttons down the back and a scoop back. We liked the contrast of the understated wool top with the more high-octane lacy silver and black embellished skirt, which Garner paired with black satin platform pumps.

Garner added another element of Upper East Side chic to the equation in the form of Cartier jewels, including drop earrings, rings and bangles.

The star's beauty look was also stellar. She sported a silvery smoky eye and perfectly tousled waves. Also looking stunning on the red carpet was co-star Helen Mirren, in billowing Lanvin.

Check out how to get a red carpet-ready smoky eye without a professional makeup artist, thanks to Buxom Waterproof Smoky Eye Sticks from Sephora.

Naomi Watts in a Printed Pastel Ensemble: Our Look of the Day

Naomi Watts showed off a romantic boho sensibility as she wore a pastel printed top and skirt to the Tribeca Ball at the New York Academy of Art on April 4, which she attended with hubby Liev Schreiber.

The actress's ensemble was a much an attraction as the artwork on display -- the pale pink A-line top and maxi-skirt featured an abstract pastel print and were loose and flowing for a romantic style statement.

Watts kept the accessories to a minimum with beige sandals, simple drop earrings and a bracelet.

We're loving the fresh pastel palette -- which is also a big makeup trend this season. Instead of overdoing the war paint, the Aussie star let her natural beauty shine with minimal makeup and beach babe-worthy waves.

Coveting Naomi's natural-looking waves? Here's how to get that perfectly tousled look at home.
