Bristol Palin -- daughter of famed politico Sarah Palin -- talks about being a single mom, dating, and her experience in the 2008 presidential campaign in this month's Harper's Bazaar.

The clever tea party-themed fashion spread includes shots of the 19-year old Bristol making cookies with her sister Willow in a siren red Carolina Herrera gown, and pouring tea from the kettle next to her son Tripp in a spectacular strapless Lanvin dress.

In the interview, Bristol is completely candid. On being pregnant during the 2008 campaign, she explains, "it was kind of humiliating. . . great, I'm 17 years old, I'm 40 pounds overweight with a big belly on me, all my friends are at school watching this on the news...It's not like we all sat down and were like, 'Alright, here's the birds and the bees.' Truly, my parents just assumed that I wasn't doing anything. And it was a shock for us all."

Being a single mother and the responsibility that goes along with that is something Bristol is not taking lightly.

She works as a medical assistant and serves as an ambassador for Candie's foundation. "I'm on my own. I'm really proud of it. I'm a hard worker, " she says.

Even the politically-charged elder Palin doesn't dispute that. "We're very proud of her for taking responsibility," she said. "It's not an easy road, but it's the right road. Decisions were made, and we can't unwind those decisions. Consequences are being dealt with. I'm sincerely proud of her."

Milla Jovovich Heats up Berlin Fashion Week in Philip Treacy Hat

The new campaign for the Berlin's upcoming Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (July 7-9, 2010) features a particularly smoking image of Milla Jovovich.

Shot by renowned London-based fashion photographer Miles Aldridge, the campaign's theme is "Express Your Style" and the surrealist image is trippy-chic, with several white rabbits lounging around Jovovich, who's perched on a sleek Mercedes-Benz parked in the middle of what appears to be a highway routing through a Technicolor living room.

But the centerpiece of the photo: The hat! Jovovich is wearing a spectacular topper made of 300 specially processed feathers, created by the avant-guarde milliner Philip Treacy. "I felt it needed a hat that spelled exuberant style and hats are about individuality," says Treacy in a video on the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Facebook Page. "It's the most extreme form of luxury and it's a symbol of positivity."

The juxtaposition of Jovovich in a metallic, ultra-modern mini-dress, the whimsical hat and the sleek E-Class cabriolet is a little Alice in Wonderland meets catwalk. We like it, but as for the leading lady?

"I have never really worked with a car as my co-star in a campaign and you know, the challenge is going to be not being upstaged by the E-class cabriolet, so I'm going to have to work it!," said Jovovich.

We'd say she did just that.

And speaking of working, find out who's just applied for an internship with Philip Treacy.

Raise your hand if you can't pick your favorite Sex and the City character and episode in less then ten seconds flat.

Yeah, we thought so!

We can all wax nostalgic about the ladies, the gentleman, the cocktails, the post-it note breakups and obviously the shoes for hours on end. Recently, Modelinia caught up with several big name models on their most coveted moments and characters.

Here's the scoop on cover girl favs. "Sports Illustrated" swimsuit stunner Dominque Piek is a Carrie girl and already has plans for the premiere. "The day the movie comes out me and my girlfriends are going to watch it dressed to the nines in heels, the works, and go have cosmopolitans afterwards," Piek told Modelinia.

Former Yves Saint Laurent and Victoria Secret model Damaris Lewis has a soft spot for Charlotte. "She's the Mama of the group and that's how I am with my close friends," says Lewis. On her plans for the sequel? "I will definitely be attending the premiere with my girlfriends. No boys allowed!"

There's always a Samantha lover in every bunch and Sessilee Lopez is it. "She's sassy and confident. And I love her sexual appetite, she knows that there really is more the one apple in the city!" says Lopez. "My favorite scene would have to be the time Samantha moved into the Meatpacking District and had many loud arguments with the drag queens working the corner." Ahh, makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside, too, Sessilee!

Well, we sincerely hope all bars in pretty much every city in the world are really stalked up on vodka, triple sec and the mixings. The Sex and the City 2 craze has officially begun.

Interview Magazine's iPad App Makes April Issue Pop

Interview Magazine launches new iPad app, putting the April issue at your fingertips. Photo courtesy of Interview Magazine

In the words of Bob Dylan, the times, they are a-changin' -- and with the highly anticipated launch of Apple's iPad, they're gonna be a-changin' even faster, boys and girls.

It's no shocker that Andy Warhol's perpetually ahead-of-the-times brainchild Interview Magazine isn't taking a backseat in this media revolution, and in what's bound to get both techies and fashionistas in a tizzy, the publication is releasing its April issue on the iPad via a new app.

Get your fill of fashion, music, art, culture, and film right on this crazy-cool device (trust us, we got to play with the iPad at the Interview offices in New York City's SoHo earlier today).

Themed "The Currency of Youth," the April cover features cinema's newest darling Carey Mulligan, who is interviewed by Susan Sarandon for the inside story. Also in the issue: a seemingly paint-splattered Ke$ha, artist Ryan McGinely, '90s club kid Michael Alig, "Twilight" hunk Kellan Lutz, and much, much more -- 334 screens worth, as a matter of fact.

Plus, there's 20 minutes of exclusive video and audio content -- we highly recommend the lively behind-the-scenes video with the "Jersey Shore" crew and Bar Refaeli by photographer Terry Richardson. How could that combo not be genius?

To top it off, the price is right -- Interview's app costs only 99 cents. It remains to be seen what the advent of the iPad means for print magazines and multimedia down the line, but clearly Interview is well ahead of the game, as usual.

We think Andy would be proud.

'The Art of Craftmanship Revisited' Showcases Parsons Students Collaborations With New York Artisans

The launch party for "The Art of Craftsmanship Revisited: New York" at Milk Gallery was certainly the place to be for those on the fashion party circuit.

Manhattan's Meatpacking District event showcasing a collaboration between LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton Inc. and Parsons The New School for Design, in which 23 groups of students were paired with various New York City artisans, was packed.

For the past several months, the student teams worked closely with individual local artisans (in fields such as Ceramic Arts, Furniture Arts, Musical Arts, Glass Arts, Theater Arts and more).

Ultimately, the teams created their own fashion ensembles and documentary films inspired by the local artisan's work, which were presented in front of a panel of judges who will eventually select three winning teams.

Guests including Selma Blair, Rachel Zoe and Carine Roitfeld poured into the crowded space to raise a glass to the students' truly inspired fashion creations and the luxury world of LVMH.

"I am comfortably blown away by the event tonight," Simon Collins, Dean of the School of Fashion, told StyleList.

"I made a point of not looking at the garments before the show because I know what my students are capable of. After the unveiling I was actually almost in tears," he confessed.

"I am so proud of our school and what the students can do. LVMH and Parsons have a shared goal of nurturing artisanship and our students are artisans -- they are all craftsmen in one way or the other."
