How do you feel in the blazer? I loved this blazer from the second I had it on. It's comfortable, it's stylish--and it will look great with the right skinny jeans.
How does the style of the blazer flatter your body or how does it make you feel self conscious? This blazer fits perfectly everywhere but the arms, which could be a half-inch shorter. They're not so long that they'd get in the way though.
How does the material feel/ look? This blazer feels decadently plush and smooth to the touch.
Where would you wear the blazer? This is the perfect piece for holiday parties and gatherings. I'd be sorely tempted to wear it all winter long though, probably out to dinner and to the office as well.
What types of outfits would you pair the blazer with? I tried it on with the leopard print shell I found on the rack next to it, and the blazer looked fabulous. I'd accessorize it with a sparkly bangle or a chunky and colorful statement necklace. If I felt especially daring I'd go for some long dangly earrings. I'd definitely go for a skinny-legged pant on bottom.
How often would you wear the blazer? On occasion. I feel that it's a little too splashy for everyday wear--but it makes a great special occasion piece.
Would you buy the blazer? Absolutely. It's gorgeous and has classic lines. I could wear it again next season.

How do you feel in the blazer? I feel very comfortable, but chic in this blazer.
How does the style of the blazer flatter your body or how does it make you feel self conscious? I think I needed one size larger in the style, but besides it fitting a little more snug, I rather liked the cut of the blazer.
How does the material feel/ look? The material feels and looks rich.
Where would you wear the blazer? I think that this blazer can be worn everywhere. It's a great pick me up for any closet. You can wear it to go shopping or to a holiday event.
What types of outfits would you pair the blazer with? You could wear this blazer from a basic look like a jean and tee to make it look a like more posh, to a cocktail dress to finish the look off just right.
How often would you wear the blazer? I would wear this all the time. It's a great update to the average, boyfriend blazer.
Would you buy the blazer? Yes, I would buy this blazer. Besides it looking cute, the price is really great.

Personal style: Comfy and easy but stylish and current.
How do you feel in the blazer? I loved it! I really liked how I could scrunch the sleeves or roll them up to change up the look.
How does the material feel/ look? It was soft to the touch and lined in a silk material.
What types of outfits would you pair the blazer with? I put this on over a pair of jeans and a really simple v-neck tee and it totally changed my look. I felt pulled together in this. I love the classic look of a blazer paired with ballet flats
How often would you wear the blazer?
Would you buy the blazer? It would totally fit into my wardrobe stylings except for the price. At $98, I think I will wait until it goes on sale to purchase this; but, I definitely will purchase it. It is time to replace the old hoodie and replace it with a more structured piece.
Real Women Wear - Gap Blazer
Name: Wendy Rose Gould
From: Phoenix, AZ.
Age: 24
Body type: Hourglass shape -- somewhat short with a tiny waist and a bigger bottom.
Personal style: A cross between girly kitsch and bohemian.
How do you feel in the blazer? I felt pretty good, actually. I'm not really a blazer person, persay, but I thought it was somewhat flattering and it was comfortable, as well.
How does the style of the blazer flatter your body or how does it make you feel self conscious? I think the vest did a little of both. It accentuated my narrow waist, but at the same time made my already large bust look even larger. I'm always a bit self conscious about the size of my bust, so I didn't like that factor.
How does the material feel/ look? It was really nice quality. I'm such a bargain shopper, so when I saw the price tag before trying it on I didn't get it. However, it's constructed out of nice quality material and looks like it'll last for a while.
Where would you wear the blazer? I'd likely wear it to interviews or meetings with clients. It's a professional staple item that can dress up a pair of jeans easily. It can also go ultra professional when paired with a suit skirt.
What types of outfits would you pair the blazer with? Because my job doesn't require me to dress up, I'd probably create more casual outfits with this blazer. I'd pair it with jeggings or a nice pair of jeans, some flats and then a colorful undershirt for added pop.
How often would you wear the blazer? Honestly, I'd probably wear the blazer once or twice a month. I don't think it'd become a staple in my wardrobe, but it'd see the light more than a few other garments I own!
Would you buy the blazer? As a bargain shopper, I think I'd hunt around a little bit more for a similar vest that's also of great quality. If this item were something I'd probably wear more often, I'd be more likely to splurge on it.

The only garment that might give the
LBD a run for its money as a classic style staple is the LBB -- Little Black Blazer.
The timelessness of a
fitted black blazer makes it a must-have item worthy of reasonable investment.
We're all
different shapes and sizes, so finding the right style and fit for your body can be an exercise in frustration.
So for this
"Testing the Garment" segment, we sent our style squad to the
Gap to find out if its black blazer is as sleek and sophisticated as it appears on the rack. This time around, half our crew tested the
Classic Blazer, and the other half tested the
Velvet Blazer, a perfect option for the holiday season.
Both pieces feature a notched collar and long sleeves, and while the velvet fabric adds a luxe touch, both garments are priced at a relatively reasonable $98 and $90, respectively.
Our band of seasoned shoppers (some are bloggers; some aren't) headed to their local mall to try on one of the two blazers.
Find out what these women, who are of
varying styles and body types, had to say about size, fit and fabrication as it pertains to this particular garment. The overall takeaway: The blazer is a must-have piece that can pull any outfit together.
