A Preview of Johan Lindeberg's BLK DNM Collective [Photos]

Johan Lindeberg is making a comeback. But this time, he's expanding his creative empire on his own terms. You might know the Swedish designer's work from his time pulling the creative strings for many years at Diesel, J. Lindeberg and Justin Timberlake's denim line William Rast. Recently, Lindeberg has embarked on a new journey, combining his collective experience in the fashion and art industries into the new emerging brand called BLK DNM (pronounced "black denim").

To smooth the way onto the off-line market, on June 8 BLK DNM -- which has previously enjoyed success as an e-commerce store -- will open a temporary store in New York called POP 1. Comprised of clean, classic lines with a contemporary edge, BLK DNM is made up of leather, denim, knits, cottons and cashmere for both men and women. Lindeberg will also debut BLK DNM Gazette 1: a large-format, 30-page magazine edited by Stylist Aleksandra Woroniecka, featuring the works of artist Terence Koh, jewelry designer Waris Ahluwalia and director Wes Anderson -- among others. "Its purpose is to create an interesting culture and manifest our creativity as a collective, rather than to promote product," says Lindeberg. Here's a sneak peak of the first issue!

LaToya Jackson's Eccentric Style Evolution

As the fifth child in the Jackson brood, LaToya has always been in the shadows of her more star powered siblings like the late king of Pop, Michael and the always-fluctuating-in-weight Janet. While she's churned enough of her own albums, her most memorable gigs have been her Playboy pose in 1987 and her latest stint on "Celebrity Apprentice." Sadly, she got fired after the episode 8 by the Donald. But when it comes to outrageous style, we think this Jackson trumps them all.

Love the Jackson clan as much as we do? Learn more about Michael in the video below:

Ally Hilfiger & Nary Manivong of NAHM Open Studio

Industry newcomer Nary Manivong and fashion royalty Ally Hilfiger have joined forces to design and launch NAHM. I was lucky enough to visit the team at their showroom to find out firsthand what all the buzz is about.

As I scanned the fall line of shirtdresses given further depth by amber and gold hues and fabrics such as velvet and polished wool that resembles leather, I exclaimed, "There is not one piece I wouldn't wear."

Having known Nary for quite some time it was such a joy to see his talent find it's true potential through the partnership with Ally. Their relationship, resembling that of a brother and sister, is at the core of their success. As in sync as any two people could possibly be, their equal passion for both the line and one another has endeared them to us all.

Rachel Bilson on Her Style Icons and Karl Lagerfeld (Video)

"Accessibility" was the order of the day at Derek Lam's launch party to celebrate his five-piece capsule collection for eBay. The collaboration is a taste of what's to come in Derek's own diffusion line due out next resort season (which he promises will be a more accessible price point at the same elevated style).Lam was on hand to discuss with his lovely co-host Rachel Bilson. We stopped to chat with the affable Bilson and learned we share the same style icon -- Janis Joplin -- and an obedience to Mr. Lagerfeld. "Anything Karl asks you to do, you do." she told us. Took the words right out of my mouth, Ms. Bilson.

Interview: Owner and Founder of Amoro Jewelry Reveals Latest Collection

When Stephen Crane, owner and founder of Amoro, invited us to an intimate dinner at Beauty & Essex we knew we were in for a romantic treat.

So you could imagine how infatuated we were with the jeweler when he arrived for an interview with stunning baubles from his latest collection, now available online.

Crane has earned his reputation as purveyor of the world's most romantic jewelry for good reason. Not only does Amoro pride itself on bringing the finest diamond cuts, gemstones and gold settings at extremely competitive prices, the line also demonstrates a true understanding of the emotional attachment a piece of jewelry represents.

Throughout the evening, as Stephen regaled us with stories of intimate connections made with customers, I found myself under his spell. In my opinion the pièce de résistance has to be the strand of pearls with diamond facet. Not only was I captivated by the beautiful adornment, but by the fact that it featured my birthstone -- pearls. An emotional connection was made and for the first time I felt proud of my birthstone.

So watch the video above and witness Crane's ability to make any girl swoon, and let us know in the comments section below which item in your jewelry box you have a deep attachment to.
