"We wanted to have beautiful pictures [of the shows]. After, when I saw the show and I saw how it makes them very mechanical, I understood sometimes the pain on the feet. There is a lot of emotion. I was like, back to toe ground. We wanted something easier. It's old to have those girls walking like that, so I tried to stop that craziness. The idea was to have this crazy casting with Gisele [Bündchen] and Amber Valletta and Carolyn [Murphy], and they said no for high heels. They were not used to walking with heels anymore. Gisele was worried; she would not walk with my heels."

Target has released the first images of its collaboration with Missoni in an unconventional way. No, not with a party or a press release, with a real blogging doll (joints, hinges and all) named "Marina"! To celebrate her debut, the company created a lengthy post on a tumblr account entitled "All The Way Up Here" which we hope will be continuously updated. While we love the brightly colored garments, we are especially excited for the Missoni for Target bike. Wouldn't that just be perfect for getting around during fashion week?

As an addition to the new "Gemea" collection, Tiffany & Co. is releasing the steel version of its signature Gemea watch. The long cased timepiece comes with a white lacquer dial and features classic looking Roman numerals done in Tiffany's signature blue. This model has a 22mm wide polished steel case and matching bracelet. Inside the watch is a Swiss quartz movement.

Koto Bolofo, a South African photographer who grew up in Great Britain, gained unprecedented access to the house of Hermès when he started working for Monde d'Hermès, the Hermès magazine, in 2004. After meeting the chairman, Jean-Louis Dumas, Bolofo recalls, "Mr Dumas asked where I came from. I said South Africa. He asked what part. I said Lesotho. He was shocked and very excited. He explained that his great great great grandfather was a missionary in Lesotho and that the Zulus used to attack his mission, but the Sothos - my tribe - protected him." He adds, "I was very happy to be a Lesothan in Mr Dumas's office that day. He called me his cousin and said that his cousin was welcome any time and I had carte blanche to photograph what I liked in Hermès".

The collection of photographs, which Bolofo took over a six year period, were recently published in eleven volumes by Steidl under the title, La Maison. This beautiful insider's view into the Hermès workshops captures the old world feeling of the French fashion house behind the scenes. Volume three, "Le sac Kelly/Kelly Bag" shows almost one hundred photographs of the process involved in producing one of the world's most coveted handbags. Bolofo artfully captured, both in color and black and white images, as a highly skilled designer delicately cut the crocodile skin, stitched the straps and installed the signature logo - all by hand. Close ups of the materials and the worker reveal the time intensive process behind a single bag. In Volume 4, "Clothes," Bolofo shows the an extensive view of the process of creating Hermès' ready-to-wear collection. Shot almost entirely in black and white, this volume differs greatly from the more energetic Kelly bag. While "Le sac Kelly" highlighted the process behind creating a single bag, "Clothes" shows an entire team working towards a larger collection of pieces. Bolofo photographed close portraits of the workers with their heads bent, hands sewing and feet pressing pedals. Almost as if the workshop was lit by dim candle light, there is a soft, romantic quality to these images.

Swatch has teamed up with popular figurine designer Kid Robot for a colorful collection of eight watches. Based on the Swatch "New Gent" timepieces, these watches are unisex in nature and offer a fun, contemporary pop culture feel to any look.

Artists Gary Baseman, Jeremyville, Frank Kozik, Joe Ledbetter, MAD, Tara McPherson, SSUR, and Tilt each designed a watch and a corresponding "Dunny." (A dunny is what Kit Robot calls its rabbit-like character that artists use as a canvas for their creations.) Unfortunately, not all the watches come with dunnys, just the limited edition models. These latter ones are paired with with a matching 3-inch dunny, and one model comes with a larger 20-inch dunny.

In addition to the standard models, Swatch will offer 300 limited edition sets that will include all eight watches, plus the eight corresponding dunnys. The standard watches alone retail for $70, while the limited edition set (300 total) will go for $1,500. Fashion has long paid homage to the cat through her spots, but now the grand dame is getting attention front and center. Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci sent panther prints and kitty ears down his runway for fall, while United Bamboo created specially-made feline fashion for their annual cat calendars. The website LOLcats has became an internet phenomenon and Saturday Night Live even has a sketch devoted to them dubbed "Lazer Cats". With Anne Hathaway lined up as Catwoman in next summer's "The Dark Night Rises", cats are sure to continue enjoying their moment in the sun.

Closet Case is a new column in which we invade the wardrobes of our real life style icons. Here fashion consultant, blogger and model casting agent Natalie Joos let us in to her light filled Williamsburg apartment to see her envy inducing closet. Or should we say closets. In addition to Natalie's sizable bedroom wardrobe filled with shoes, clothes and accessories, she also has a rolling rack full of a vintage and designer dresses. Fashion is everywhere: Polaroids of famous friends like model Hannelore Knuts that date back to the 2000 ("I don't take them as much anymore because they are so expensive now!") line the walls of her closet, an archive of style magazines (i-D, W, Vogue and The Face) fill a second bedroom and bags from Lanvin, Celine and more sit atop her bookshelves. In addition to showing us the Miu Miu dress she wore on a date last week (with painfully uncomfortable heels), her Old Navy flip flops and what she was bringing on an upcoming trip to Mexico ("obviously my Celine clogs, I could wear those everyday!"), Natalie gave us some insider tips and lots of eye candy:

How do you organize your closet?
I am hopelessly OCD so everything has a system. My dresses are on one large rolling rack and all color coordinated. I start with black, then beige, then white, solid colors, florals, stripes and I end with onesies. I also have a coat closet, where I keep hats, bags and scarves. I have another closet with hanging skirts, shirts, pants and cardigans. I keep all of my T-shirts, tank tops and sweaters folded. I have a large storage closet in Queens where I keep my winter stuff during the summer. I store all my sweaters in plastic bags with cedar blocks during the summer. I hate moths - they give me the willies. I keep my furs and Vogue Italias there as well. It is only a ten minute bike ride away!

What is one thing you wear every day?
I have 2 piercings in my left ear. One is silver with a gold closure and the other is gold with a silver closure. I can't take them off. Other than that, I don't really wear jewelry.

How long does it take to get dressed in the morning?
Depends. Usually not more than 15 minutes. The outfit starts with my hair. If I washed it, it will be down and long and curly. If I didn't (the next day) it will be in a pony tail or chignon. Some outfits don't work with loose hair, so I have to take that into account. Does that make sense? Then I choose 1 key piece and build the rest around that.

What do you own that you will never throw away, but never wear again?
My jeans from when I was 16. They were so hot and new and tight at the time. I was a real forerunner with these. Only one other girl in Ghent wore jeans like mine. I still fit them but they're not so hot anymore.

What is your most recent purchase?
My cobalt Saffiano Prada bag and red Saffiano Prada wallet. I am in love.

Who is your ideal shopping buddy?
I love shopping on my own. I make better decisions on my own. I have only my own voice to listen to. I can reason in my own head and talk myself in or out of any purchase. When I shop w other people I tend to buy too much. I wish I had someone who would buy stuff FOR me, as in paying for it. Wouldn't that would be everyone's ideal shopping buddy?

Three adjectives to describe your style?
Cute, sexy, fun.
