Gap 1969's got a taco truck hitting the road and heading to L.A., New York, Chicago and San Francisco. Cleverly called "Pico de Gap," it'll park itself out in front of various music events, street festivals, nightclubs and of course Gap stores, to dish out items from custom-designed menus by chefs, foodies and some Top Chef alums like Katie Lee, Marcel Vigneron, Ryan Scott and Rick Gresh.
Also, new 1969 denim will be on display at Pico de Gap and if you bring in a receipt from a Gap purchase from the same day, your tasty taco will cost nada. Not to mention, everyone who visits the food truck will get a $20-off coupon to any store.
Tacos and jeans? This is one food truck we can definitely be truly crazed about.

Considering that it works double time as an easy cover up over a sundress or a light layering piece when paired with a scarf or sweater for fall, the jean jacket proves to be the ultimate transition piece. So whether you want yours a little bedazzled, a little cut and cropped or with a little rugged edge, we've got the seven best jean jackets for you to grab now.
7 For All Mankind takes us behind the scenes in the making of their fall ad campaign, starring supermodel Angela Lindvall and Sam Webb. Shot at a residence overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the campaign evokes a relaxed but sophisticated west coast style. "The images are about California and denim - the heart and soul of the brand," says VP of Marketing Leilani Augustine.
The designer's got a brand new store in NYC's Soho neighborhood called 3x1 Made Here and for anyone who loathes the thought of having to try on ill fitting jeans while shopping (and consequently, feel awful about yourself afterward), this is as close to mecca as you'll get. Not only are there a number of hand-made, limited edition pairs you can buy right off the floor, but there's also a bespoke program where you can customize your own. The coolest part? You can see how it all comes together, as each piece is chalked, cut, sewn and steamed right there in the 3x1 space.
Whether you bring in that old denim you love as a base to work from, or just come up with your own brilliant make and model from scratch, he'll work with you to create what everyone seeks but many never seem to find - pure perfection.
I was lucky enough to create some denim at 3x1 with Scott and since then, it's been tough not to wear them every single day. Check out the video above to see the entire bespoke process.
3x1 Made Here is located at 15 Mercer Street, or you can learn more online at 3x1.us.
