The sage by Christos is a simple scoop neck empire-waist gown with a beautiful velvet ribbon detail at the waist that cleverly wraps around your bare back and ties up into a pretty knot. It's a very sexy detail thanks to the deep v-back. In fact, all of the embellishment is at the back - there are fabric buttons from the base of the v-back to the velvet bow detail at the chapel train, and that's it - but somehow it's more than enough.

For the bride who wants to look drop-dead elegant, we offer this stunning dress by Casablanca. The natural waist is highlighted by a wide sash, and fabric buttons travel from the bottom of the "V" at the back to the hemline. The French lace halter bodice is the key - it's beautiful and sophisticated, and certainly not fit for a "blushing" bride.
