Emma Stone and Olivia Wilde have been heating up the red carpet as summer's leading ladies, and now their set to face off as Revlon's new global brand ambassadors.

The color cosmetics company
has tapped the Hollywood hotties to front new and existing Revlon products, as well as star in campaigns launching early 2012 with looks created by Gucci Westman, makeup artist and global artistic director.

"These remarkably talented actresses personify the Revlon woman – glamorous, confident and bold. Together, they will help us build meaningful connections with new consumers and strengthen our relationship with existing fans of our brand," said Alan T. Ennis, Revlon president and chief executive officer, in a statement.

They join a gorgeous roster including beauties Halle Berry, Jessica Biel and Elle Macpherson.

"The Help" starlet Stone is "honored to be a part of the Revlon family" and reflects on the brand being a part of her life as a child.

She adds, "I vividly recall my mom wearing Revlon makeup and I remember getting to the age when I was finally able to wear Revlon myself. As a brand, it is a leader and innovator in the world of cosmetic beauty."

The company's commitment to raising awareness about women's issues stirs up "Cowboys & Aliens" actress Wilde. "It's exciting to join a company with a big heart and big ideas!"

The Hollywood hotties have pledged to join Revlon in it's philanthropic efforts, as the brand has raised more than $65 million for cancer research over the past 10 years.

Rihanna Spends $23,000 A Week on Stylist
No pain, no gain? We suppose that anyone who changes their hairstyle as often as Rihanna is going to have to shell out the big bucks. Top celebrity stylist Ursula Stephen - who has reportedly also become a close friend - charges the singer about $3,200 a day for styles that have included a "Matador Red" bob, blond highlights and bright red hair extensions. But watch out, RiRi - you can't add hair extensions to a bald head. - Via StyleCaster

    Ashley Greene Shares Beauty Advice
The Twilight star dished on her beauty routine, her increasingly proactive skin care methods and what products she can't live without. We're intrigued by a natural beauty tip Greene learned on set - drawing freckles over your foundation gives the illusion that you're not wearing any makeup at all. Somehow, we think we'd end up looking more like we'd been splattered in brown paint. - Via BellaSugar

French Women Lie More About Beauty
Sick of hearing about the effortless beauty of the French? This survey's for you. A recent study commissioned by Benefit Cosmetics found that French women are more likely than American women to lie about their weight, length of their beauty routines and number of sexual partners. This ought to leave American women smirking (at least until the next French Vogue hits the stands). - Via Daily Mail

    15 Cool Lollapalooza Beauty Looks
Thousands flocked to Chicago last weekend to see Lollapalooza, the city's annual music festival. So what better time to find summer's coolest street style beauty looks? We're especially loving the Black Cards' Bebe Rexha's metallic headband and messy waves. To be fair, it was a good 90 degrees out this weekend - we're not positive these girls can take full credit for their "tousled" hair and "glowing" complexions. - Via BellaSugar

Week in Review | The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

Getty Images / Getty Images / Splash News

To wrap up this week, we decided to sift through the news and share what we are excited for, what we are sad about and what we just don't understand. Here is this week's The Good, The Bad and The Ugly:

The Good: Karl Lagerfeld made headlines when he announced he was doing a second fast fashion collaboration (his first was with H&M in 2004). We were pleasantly surprised by his upcoming fall collection for Macy's: cheap, chic and it even has Cathy Horyn's stamp of approval. We're sold.

The Bad: The Alexander McQueen exhibit, "Savage Beauty" at The Metropolitan Museum of Art was extended until August 7th. Haven't seen it already? Don't bother. The line is so long anyone who enters the museum has to wait an hour even if they aren't seeing the exhibit. Too bad.

The Ugly: Kate Bosworth always looks chic. We love her Isabel Marant booties. What we are not loving? Her new dip dyed do. Or should I say "don't." So ugly.
