Synecdoche, New York premiere

I shot the Synecdoche, New York premiere from our "I" position -- above the stairs where the television crews are hosted. I sat up on the balcony so as to avoid camera crew and security guards heads. The magazines are looking for clean red floors with good fashion and expression on the arriving guests. I managed to get the three stars of the film, Michelle Williams, Catherine Keener and Samantha Morton, walking up the red carpet. The challenge of Cannes arrivals is the split second chances to get clean photos (no feet, no photographers, no guests' legs) just red carpet.
