Chado Ralph Rucci Fall 2011: Slept-On Chignon

Backstage at the Chado Ralph Rucci Fall 2011 collection, Laurent Philippon for Bumble and Bumble created the classic chignon, and then he made it look a bit like the models had slept on it. "It's a proper French twist, but it looks more spontaneous and has a softer finish," Philippon told StyleList. His team used lots of Bumble and Bumble Styling Wax as a base for the texture of the hair and sprayed Hair Powder on top, to tone down any slickness or overly polished effects. --Lisa Schweitzer
