The right shoe makes a big difference

The right shoe makes a big difference

Your best bet is a substantial heel (or a wedge). A sandal will flatter your leg by adding length and add to the summery appeal of your outfit. You need to avoid anything with an ankle strap like the plague -- it will cut your leg off and make it look much thicker. Itty-bitty kitten heels and pointy-toe flats are also not a great choice for you. But, invest in a couple pairs of shoes that lengthen your leg, and you'll be able to flatter your figure in many outfits, whether you're in long pants or a summery skirt!
