Also, if you have any MAC pigments laying around the house, they make gorgeous polishes when mixed in clear lacquer. I buy an inexpensive brand like Milani but clear top coats like Sally Hansen Insta Dri is another option. Add 1/4 tsp. of pigment at a time and mix, mix, mix before testing on the nail. Continue adding pigment until you've reached the desired opacity. This is one of my fave mixes using MAC Entremauve pigmet. The pink sparkles in the pigment never really showed up when I used it as an eyeshadow but in polish, they really pop.
