#1. The dress

#1. The dress

We love this dress on Charlize SOOO much, but, truth be told, it will not look this hot on many of us. Charlize is quite tall and lean, allowing the flapper-style dress to float. If you have a large bust, this dress will not flatter you. If you have full hips, the dress will catch on them and pull, ruining the look. And, if you're lean but 5'1", this isn't going to flatter you, either, UNLESS you make sure the hemline is high enough -- you need it slightly above the knee in order to keep it from making your legs look about a foot long. However, there is hope for plus size and curvy girls who are dying for a flapper-style ensemble -- just avoid the straight-hanging style of Charlize's dress. Instead, find something with room where you need it AND a defined waist. It's important that the dress doesn't pull, so buy it in the size that fits your largest area and, if necessary, have the rest altered to fit.
