Matte Brown Eyeshadow
Sweep a matte, deep brown shade of eye shadow across the eyelid, all the way from the lash line up into the crease. Use a soft, rounded brush to apply the shadow. "It's like a wash of color that's going to give your eyes definition and look really smoldering and sexy for evening," says Carmindy.

Clear Lip Liner
The next easy step is preparing your lips for a bold shade of lip color. Apply a clear lip liner right around the perimeter of the lips, to create an invisible barrier. The wax will help seal lipstick in place so it won't bleed or settle into fine lines and cracks.

Choosing a Lipstick
"When it comes to choosing an evening lip color, you can go deeper and bolder, but make sure it's not truly opaque-look for a sheer shade that's got a lot of moisture. I prefer matte sheer shades to really sparkling bright colors, which can look a little garish at this age," suggests Carmindy.

Applying Your Lipstick
Use a lip brush to paint on your lip color--it'll leave a thinner, more natural layer and helps you control the application to stay within the borders.
