Flavorful Main Dish

Couture: I would pair this orange number with the deep, spicy chicken mole because it has the same spice and boldness of the dish.

Cuisine: Chicken mole on a bed of Mexican rice is one of my favorite dishes in the world. The sauce is a labor of love, but well worth it. The rice recipe is adapted from my boyfriend's mother's recipe and the mole is a combination of a few of my favorite recipes. It has an adobo, ancho and pasilla chile base with (of course) deep dark chocolate.
