Designer Phoebe Philo continued her stream of haute chic minimalism for Fall 2011.  Her outerwear was stellar—mostly three-quarter length coats that managed to be stiff and structured at the same time that they were light and fluid.  She did whippet-thin trousers, some with the two-tone panels we’ve seen at other houses this season.  And there was a series of clever wood-grain patterned looks—the new camouflage?
