Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2011: Plaids, Checks and Tartans

Not only does this look incorporate Fall 2011’s emerging plaid trend, it also plays nicely with proportion. The combination of the cropped trench and high-waisted trouser raises the waistline and elongates the leg. The vertical lines of the plaid stretch the leg line even further. Very flattering and very chic!
