1920's Navajo Necklace

This is a precious little Navajo “naja” necklace--circa 1920--in a traditional double-crescent motif, with three small stones of Sleeping Beauty Turquoise acquired from a friend in Santa Fe. According to the Navajo, turquoise protects the body and spirit and provides health and happiness to those who wear it.
