Chloe Sevigny and Lissy Trullie may have been in midtown Manhattan, but their looks were decidedly downtown-cool at an event on May 23 at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC. The two ladies -- both dressed in Opening Ceremony fall 2011 frocks -- were on hand to celebrate the launch of a partnership between Volkswagen and MoMA.
Sevigny -- a devoted OC fan and guest collaborator -- sported a formfitting cable knit frock with mid-section cut out. The white number was paired with contrasting Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony leather platform boots and distressed denim jacket. For a burst of color, the actress added a bright orange pout -- a look Sevigny loves and we spotted on many of the spring runways.
Meanwhile, singer and former model Lissy Trullie also opted for an Opening Ceremony dress, but one of a much different style. The indie darling chose a minidress with bright purple leaf print and opaque stockings. She toughened up the look with a leather jacket -- adorned with punkish pin, natch.
