Bottega Veneta: Milan Fashion Week 2011

For Fall 2011, Bottega Veneta designer Tomas Maier focused on what is shaping up to be another big trend next season: lace. He made ample use of it in this collection, with dresses, skirts, pants and shirts cut from the frilly stuff. Only his version wasn't as prim and proper as you might imagine. Instead of ladylike he gave us attitude, by laying delicate black lace over bright -- sometimes neon -- colors, and by slashing up the side of an otherwise dainty dress.
