Today kicks off the United States launch of Hairdressers Against AIDS, a joint venture between L'Oréal and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), which urges stylists to use the often intimate, tell-all relationships they have with clients as a jumping point to educate them about AIDS prevention, testing and available treatment resources.

Today, December 1, is World AIDS Day and in proud support of their philanthropic partnership with amfAR (The Foundation for AIDS Research), Kiehl's has launched the limited edition Hand Care For a Cure. Kiehl's is a longstanding supporter of HIV/AIDS charities and has raised approximately $1 million since 1996. 100% of the net profits from Hand Cream For a Cure will go towards fighting HIV/AIDS.
